Sammy's Bar

Towards the end of 2023 The Muddlers had the opportunity to be testers for a new recording studio in Taunton, set up by Paul Stewart. Paul has a long history in the music industry so it was great to be one of the first bands to try out his new facility. A few of us went and recorded Sammy's Bar, a Cyril Tawney song, and it featured in March's Folk, Roots and Branches programme on 10 Radio.

WHAT WE DO

Ceilidhs, concerts and entertaining folk

We perform music and songs from around the UK and Ireland with the occasional European or French Canadian tunes. We  choose tunes that we can put our energy and feeling into. If you would like us to perform for a ceilidh, party, gig, village fete or other event please contact us.

We also perform Christmas season events specialising in "folking" up well known and lesser known carols.

We also have a regular once or twice a month early Friday session slot at the White Hart Inn in Crewkerne and a regular last Sunday session at the Muddled Man pub in West Chinnock.
